🌟 Breaking Down Barriers in Nurse Aide Training

Central Pennsylvania is facing a serious challenge: a shortage of nurse aide training evaluators. This has created a backlog of students who are ready to serve but stuck waiting. At a time when caregivers are urgently needed, this delay impacts families, patients, and our entire community.

At Pure Excellence Healthcare, we’ve stepped up by creating both an In-Facility Testing Site (INF) and a Regional Testing Site (RTS) partnership to expand access. Yet the backlog continues because there simply aren’t enough evaluators to meet the demand.

📍 Many students are even forced to drive over two hours just to test. That’s not just inconvenient. It’s a barrier that discourages participation and delays entry into the workforce.

This isn’t just a workforce issue. This is a community issue. Without immediate action to increase evaluator availability and ensure fair compensation, Central PA will continue to struggle to prepare nurse aides, leaving patients/residents/clients without the caregivers they need.

💡 It’s time to remove barriers for students who want to serve.
