It is with great sadness that Colonial House shares the passing of Marvin Lipscomb.

Marvin served as CEO of Colonial House for 30 years and continued to give back even after retirement in 2010— driving clients, leading groups, and sharing his experience, strength, and hope.

If you knew Marvin Lipscomb you were always prepared for every conversationto start with......"Hey, did you hear the one about…" followed by his latest corny joke. His goal was to make others smile and remind folks not to take things so seriously.

His passion for recovery was contagious, and his spirit will live on through the halls of Colonial House and in all those he inspired.

Rest easy, Marvin. Your legacy, laughter, and love for recovery will never be forgotten. 💙
