Residents from across The Village at Utz Terrace packed the room to enjoy a wonderful afternoon with Pastor Rodney Gross of St. Lazarus UCC in Lineboro, MD, accompanied by his talented piano player, Gail. Together, they shared beautiful music, an inspiring message, and heartfelt prayer. One especially moving moment came at the end, as residents sang Silent Night in a darkened room, candles glowing — an experience filled with peace and meaning. 🕯🎄🎶

On December 4, in celebration of National Santa List Day, residents at The Village at Sprenkle Drive skilled care center wrote letters straight to the North Pole — sharing whether they’d been naughty, nice, or a little bit of both! 🎅✉️

They were thrilled when Santa wrote back and even sent an early Christmas treat, filling hearts with warmth, joy, and holiday magic. Moments like this remind us what the season is truly about — kindness, connection, and making others feel seen and loved.

A heartfelt thank-you to the kind family who took the time to write personal letters and prepare gifts for our residents. Your generosity created moments that will not be forgotten!

🎄🎅 Christmas Spirit Week at The Village at Utz Terrace was full of festive fun! 🎅🎄

Festivities kicked off Monday by warming up with delicious hot cocoa, followed by Tuesday’s selfie station where team members grabbed props and snapped some fun photos. Wednesday brought smiles (and sweets!) with specially decorated cookies, and Thursday had everyone feeling extra cozy in their pajamas.
The week wrapped up on Friday with a wonderful Christmas luncheon, celebrating the season and the incredible team that makes the community so special!

Safety, teamwork, and holiday spirit were on full display at The Village at Gettysburg last week! 🎄The team participated in the annual 12 Days of Safety training, moving through creative stations like Seven Swans a Washing, Six Lifts a Lifting, Three Fire Extinguishers Extinguishing, and Ten Lords a Stretching (see CNA Juanita in Santa suit) before celebrating together at the 12th Day Team Holiday Party.
