Are you pregnant or a parent/caregiver of a child/children birth to age five in Pennsylvania? If so, Pennsylvania’s Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL) invites you to register for the Lifting Family Voices: Using your Story to Strengthen Programs and Spark Change workshop on May 20th, 8:30am – 4:30pm in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

In this workshop, you will gain tools and tips to help you develop and share your family’s story and experiences. Learn how to make your voice heard and influence decisions that improve maternal and early childhood programs in Pennsylvania.

Reimbursement for childcare and travel expenses such as lodging and mileage within guidelines will be provided. Lodging will be available for those that are traveling more than 50 miles to the workshop location.

Registration is due by April 20, 2026. Seats are limited and will be provided on a first come first serve basis.

All York County offices and buildings will be closed tomorrow, Monday, Jan. 26, 2026; the county plans to resume normal operations on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

Criminal jury trials scheduled for Monday have been rescheduled for Tuesday. Jurors are instructed to report at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, unless otherwise notified.
