Our goal is to improve your quality of life. With many Americans becoming dissatisfied with the serious side effects of prescription drugs and the invasiveness of surgery, they are looking for other alternatives to improving their health. At York Chiropractic and Essential Massage we offer a multitude of alternatives to do just that. Dr. Christian Warneke D.C. graduated from Parker Chiropractic College in Dallas, Texas. He learned numerous Chiropractic techniques as well as recieved training in Acupuncture and Chinese medicine. He bought York Chiropractic Center in 1999 and has been helping thousands of patients improve their quality of life ever since. Some of the ailments he treats include, but aren't limited to, neck pain, back pain, headaches, sinus pressure, allergy symptoms, sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, TMJ pain, auto accidents, sports injuries,and arm or leg pain. Along with Chiropractic treatments and Acupuncture, we have four massage therapists offering a diverse array of massages to help improve your health, relax tight muscles, and decrease stress. Tonya Warneke LMT graduated from the Myotherapy Institute in 2000 and has been providing massages to our patients since.

EDIT: melting snow has made the alley difficult to get through! You can park in lots to the north or south of our office

We are in the office today but very difficult to get into our lot off of Lincoln Ave but the alley has been cleared.

I made it back from my trip and will be in the office tomorrow. We left Punta Cana at 3:30 and it was 84 degrees!! 100 degree drop in 10 hours seems a bit excessive 😆

❓Do know where to start to make a healthy change❓
Apps are great to help you determine what to buy that is safe and healthy for you and your family. They are not perfect by any means but a great start to start looking into ingredients.
EWG and YUCA are ones I have used for cleaning, food, personal care and beauty I also look at the Banished Ingredients list on the http://Crunchi.com/?als=tonyawarneke site for the most common personal care ingredients to always avoid. Eat! GF is one that can be helpful for gluten free alternatives.

☹️My first biggie no no ingredient to look for on a label is Fragrance there is a loophole that this term can be used to cover up a 100 more chemicals that can be dangerous to our health.

✅These sites like EWG, YUCA, and BCPP are so helpful in determining ingredients of concern, organ toxicity, endocrine disrupters, occupational hazards, skin irritations and so much more! Companies with good ratings have been scrutinized and vetted for safe ingredients are out there as an alternative! Again not every rating is the most accurate but use this as a guide.

‼️Have you thought about ingredients in your fabric softener or your shampoo lately? Did you know The United States Food and Drug Administration (a.k.a. the FDA) has done nothing to prevent companies from formulating ingredients with toxic chemicals linked to cancer, endocrine disruption, reproductive toxicity, developmental toxicity, immunotoxicity, organ toxicity, neurotoxicity, and more.😳😡

💜Luckily BCPP and Campaign for Safe Cosmetics
Are working to change that and are passing laws for improvements of transparency and banning ingredients.
