Megan Perrotta, an operating room RN at WellSpan York Hospital, joined the team two years ago. New to the York area when she was after a relocation, she shared that her role clicked into place for her. We asked her about her WellSpan experience – here is what she had to say:

“I felt so supported and for the first time in my career, I looked forward to going to work. I always joke how ridiculous I must sound, but I’ve been told my whole life about “finding my niche” in nursing and the feeling of finding that niche is honestly indescribable. I love my OR family.”

✨ On December 21st, the longest night of the year, let’s come together as a community to remember and honor our neighbors who have experienced homelessness and those we’ve lost. This heartfelt vigil is a chance to share compassion, hope, and solidarity.

• 🕯️ National Homeless Persons’ Memorial Day Vigil
• 📍 Union Lutheran Church, 408 West Market Street, York, PA 17401
• 🕕 6:00 PM

Let’s stand together to ensure that every life is valued and remembered. Your presence and support truly matter!
We will also be collecting hygiene products to support our unsheltered neighbors. If you’re able, please bring along items to contribute and help make a difference.

Together, we can foster compassion and hope—one candle, one heart, one act of kindness at a time. 💙
