Custom shoe for our well deserved patient with leg length discrepancy. Mobility is medicine and poor mobility can negatively affect your overall health and put you in constant pain and agony. We're looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our team of Patient Care Coordinators.

This is a front office role. You’re the first person the patient interacts with whether it’s over the phone or in person when they come to see a practitioner. Aspire Prosthetics & Orthotics, Inc. Position: Patient Care Coordinator
General Summary:
Under general supervision of the office manager/administrator, performs variety of administrative duties related to patient care and office maintenance.
Duties and Responsibilities
The following are essential job accountabilities:
• Greet and orient patients and families to Aspire’s office.
• Verify patients’ insurance and referrals with appropriate carriers and providers.
• Coordinate patients schedule accordingly to mitigate scheduling conflict with clinicians and other
patients using MedFlex (Aspire’s Patient Management Software).
• Initiate the care plan by providing educational information on orthoses and prostheses for
treatments, procedures, and continuity of care.
• Ensure patients follow through with their follow-up appointments to ensure continuity of care.
• Develop interdisciplinary care plan and other case management tools; Participate in meetings;
coordinate information and care requirements with other care providers.
• Resolve issues that could affect smooth care progression; fostering peer support; providing
education to others regarding the case management process.
• Document care; identifying progress toward desired care outcomes; intervening to overcome
deviations in the expected plan of care; reviewing the care plan with patients in conjunction with
clinicians.
• Interact with involved departments to negotiate and expedite scheduling and completion of tests,
procedures, and consults.
The following are common expectations
• Maintain established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment and safety standards.
• Maintain professional growth and development.
• Provide outstanding customer service to all customers and practice fiscal responsibility.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Report personnel and performance issues to the office manager.
• Maintain ongoing communication with utilization review staff regarding variances from the
care plan.
• Comply with clinic and legal requirements by fostering practices that adhere to the clinic's and
Aspire’s philosophy, goals, and standards of care; requiring adherence to other governing
regulations.
• Adhere to policies on prevention of spread of bloodborne and/or airborne diseases.
• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Others duties as assigned.
Physical demands
• Must be able to lift 50lbs using proper body mechanics.
• Occasional prolonged sitting.
• Must be able to work in fast pace environment.
Minimum requirements
• Computer skills: proficient in using Microsoft word, Excel, Power point, and Outlook
• Education: High School Diploma
• Experience: 2 years in administrative or clinical office setting
Preferred skills
• Familiarity with MedFlex patient management software is a plus
• Experience working in the Prosthetics & Orthotics industry is a plus
• Some College Education is a plus
• Billing and/or coding experience is a plus
• Insurance industry requirements and medical terminology is a plus
Additional skills and qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated, persuasion, excellent communication, health promotion and maintenance, excellent patient services, ability to build relationships, conflict resolution, teamwork, legal compliance

It’s best you get yourself a custom made shoes that you provide you the support and comfort you need. Don’t be ashamed or be stuck with a shoe that would further deteriorate your condition.
