Feliz Navidad from The Hamilton! 

Thank you to resident Eva for sharing her memories of Christmas in Mexico City!

We learned about Las Posadas, how to make a piñata, facts about Mexico and listened to Mexican carols. We even enjoyed conchas, a Mexican pastry, dipped in hot cocoa for a traditional treat at the end!

For this , we recognized our Veteran residents with a special ceremony to honor them for their service to our country. Chaplin Ed presented our veterans with certificates and Volunteer Gala presented our veterans with patriotic quilts. We also had Greg from Tidewater Arts Outreach perform and cupcakes from Altmeyer Funeral Homes- Virginia
