CPR training is great when you get feedback on your compressions with the advanced manikins that are required these days, BUT if you were providing CPR on a human being, would you really know if you were providing adequate compressions? When an AED is available that actually coaches the quality of CPR, outcomes are better.

Confidence to administer life-saving aid rises to 74% with guidance from a nearby coach*, yet many don’t know AEDs provide it.

Circling back to this amazing save at a local facility to whom we donated the AED when our own son was playing ball there. We are so proud of the outcome and so happy for their family.

Most youth coaches aren’t required to have CPR or AED training — even though 57% of parents think they are.

In Aurora, Illinois, 16-year-old Carter’s life was saved by a parent and another bystander.

Carter’s name now joins our Save Wall, honoring the heroes who acted. 💙

Sudden Cardiac Arrest can change the trajectory of your life in a heartbeat.
No one wants to feel helpless in an emergency…are you prepared to provide immediate medical care including high quality CPR and use of an Automated External Defibrillator?

In honor of World Restart a Heart Day, make a commitment to your family, friends, co-workers and community members to:

1. Learn CPR and how to recognize when it is needed. High-quality CPR includes a combination of effective chest compressions and rescue breaths. Discuss training options for your organization and make a plan to follow through.

2. If your organization has an AED(s), familiarize yourself with the model(s) you have and inspect monthly to ensure rescue-ready status. If there are no AEDs, plan to add to the budget to preserve life and protect your staff and visitors.

3. When in public places, start noticing where AEDs are located. Using an AED within the first 3 minutes after SCA can give the best chance of survival. Keep in mind that the national average response time for EMS in the U.S. is 7-14 minutes, so knowing where to find one could be a crucial, defining moment.

We can help to empower your ability to help save a life! We offer affordable AED options for every budget and set our clients up for success:
a) Our consultative services are always no-cost and we will present a variety of options, with all features explained for an informed decision.
b) Every AED that leaves our facilities is set up and ready-for-use right out of the box.
c) Low-cost AED Program Management can keep your inspections on track to make AED ownership EASY.

Love to see this officer honored for his efforts! Some may think it’s just part of the job, but this officer took immediate action based on training he had received and followed through to save a life. Being in the CPR training and AED business, we hear about a lot of rescues and always feel elated when a victim of cardiac arrest survives. The stars were aligned that day!

At tonight’s Trustee’s meeting, we honored Bristol Kendall Fire Cadet Kaleb Dhuse, Citizen James Stepien, and Yorkville Police Department Officer Tim Kolowski with Lifesaving Awards for their quick response in helping save the life of citizen, Mr. Randall Stiles.

Mr. Stiles went into cardiac arrest on Monday, June 16, 2025 at the boat launch in town located at 201 E Hydraulic Ave. Their initial response and swift actions that day made the difference between life and death.

The bravery, training, and willingness to act by these individuals exemplify the very best of public service and community spirit.

Pictured below are also members of the crew on scene that day:

FF/PM Jaime Martinez, FF/EMT Ryan Galvan, FF/EMT Richard Montgomery, Cadet Kaleb Dhuse, Randall Stiles, Citizen James Stepien, Officer Tim Kolowski, and FF/PM Lucas Lee

Love to hear about and share successful rescue stories. Congrats to these brave and conscientious team members!
