What is mobility and why the heck do we love it so much?!

Mobility is the ability to move fluidly by utilizing the joint’s physical range of motion. Mobility work is CRUCIAL for longevity and functional movement!

🌷 Restorative Yoga is a relaxing and passive practice in which poses are supported with props to help students find ease and comfort. Expect to hold these calming, restorative poses for extended periods of time. This practice is focused on relaxation and mindfulness allowing the body to open naturally through gentle support.

🌷 This Easter morning class can help reduce stress and tension while helping to regulate hormones and promote deep healing. Pared with somatic, beginner-friendly movement, students can expect to leave class feeling more relaxed and grounded.

The New Moon marks the beginning of a new cycle in our lives and in nature.

Join us for an afternoon breathwork and sound bath journey designed to help you reconnect with your body and  plant the seed for what you are ready to grow in this next chapter. This workshop will be co-taught by Jenn Berkey and Sarra Mohn. 

🌱Our mindful practice will begin with a simple earth-based ritual in which  each participant plants a seed to take home. This nature-inspired ritual represents the heart-centered intention you are ready to nurture moving forward in your life. 

🎧The breathwork portion of this workshop is guided through surround sound headphones, creating a deeply immersive space to drop into your body. 

Following our breathwork practice, students will be guided into a live sound bath journey with crystal bowls and chimes to support integration and nervous system restoration.

This deeply healing workshop will close with a short sharing circle for anyone who feels called to reflect on their experience. Q&A plus open-hearted  sharing with our facilitators will allow all participants to feel fully supported in their healing journey. 

Students will leave with their own planted seed as a reminder of what they are choosing to grow. Dress comfortably and in layers, there will be very minimal movement to help awaken the body. The room will be lightly heated for comfort.

💫 Qigong is a system of energy work that cultivates, refines, and unifies our physical essence, vital energy, and awareness. Through a set series of movements, breath patterns, and visualizations, we can improve the health of the body and generate wellbeing in the mind. In Qigong practice, we can open ourselves to a deeper relationship with the unfolding of life.

This 45 minute class will open with a brief warm up and attunement to our energy. Then we will proceed through a version of the Shaolin Eight Brocades. At the conclusion, there will be a short period of standing meditation followed by an opportunity for Q&A regarding this potent practice. 💫

🦋Join us this Saturday for a cozy practice as you mindfully sink into passive poses while drifting away from the thinking mind. As students settle in, Heather and Sam will perform gentle Thai massage, reiki, and light touches with soothing sounds to bring you deeper into the body.

Yin poses target the connective tissues (fascia) to help increase circulation in the joints, improve flexibility, and enhance the parasympathetic nervous system.

Thai massage is a technique that helps balance your body systems and energy flow Using acupressure and stretching to aid in relaxation and pain relief.

Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing technique that channels life-force energy into the receiver through gentle touch of the guide. This energy activates the natural healing response of the body and promotes physical & emotional wellbeing. 🦋
