Shirley M. Probst, age 84, of 7 Chosen Ct., Greer, S.C. passed away at
home on Thursday March 24, 2016 following a brief illness.

She was born in Youngsville, PA on February 3, 1932 to the late
Archie and Dorothy (Mourer) Peterson. Shirley was a Class of 1950
graduate of Youngsville High School and lived most of her life in
Youngsville. She was a sincere Christian, living out her faith in love
and service to her family, friends and church.

During her illness, Shirley shared that she had fulfilled her
life’s mission of raising a family. She will be remembered as a
warm, genuine and wholesome woman, hard-working, ingenious, and a
pioneer of “repurposing”. In addition to serving her family,
Shirley had been employed at New Process (Blair), Warren Co
Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service, and the
Youngsville EUM Church as Secretary. She was the Office Manager for
Probst Brothers Trucking and Excavating, a family business. Shirley
was a founding member of the Youngsville High School Alumni
Scholarship Fund’s Board of Directors. She was deeply involved in
the life of the Youngsville Evangelical United Methodist Church,
serving there in numerous capacities over her 70%2

Just wanted to let everyone know that the funeral service for Glenn Little has been changed to Saturday. His Son David is having trouble getting out of Alaska. He will be arriving, now, Friday evening. So we have moved the service to Saturday at 11 am.
