I am pleased to inform you that meetings are resuming, but with some exciting changes. Firstly, we have a new location inside Unity of Ann Arbor: 4750 Venture Dr, Suite 350, Ann Arbor, MI 48108.

Our meeting time remains 10:30 am to 12 pm on the 2nd Saturday of the month, November 8th. We will enjoy a guided meditation, and share Reiki energy. A $5 donation is suggested, but not mandatory, and donations go to Unity of Ann Arbor for use of the facility.

All are welcome, and we look forward to seeing you!

Hello All,
I am organizing a group event facilitated by Shannon (see her bio below) The seminar I am interested in is the Saturday, September 13 one at the Lighthouse Center, Whitmore Lake, titled Mary Magdeline the Real Story from 6-8pm. This would replace my usual Sacred Circle program. For more information and to register, check out Shannon’s website “The Sacred Flowering “.

What I propose is anyone interested meet either at Briarwood parking lot or Plum Market on Plymouth Rd parking lot to carpool. Where and what time we will meet to be decided after we know who is going. I do not have everyone’s email information so please forward this to anyone else who may be interested.

Shannon was taught the tradition of yoga, meditation and spiritual philosophy at an early age by her parents. As an adult, her professional and spiritual path began with massage therapy, specializing in oncology, hospital care, and deepened as a Reiki Master. Her yoga studies spanned multiple traditions, including Ashtanga, an immersive 3-year training in clinical yoga therapy, and at an ashram in Northern Michigan. She lived at the ashram for 5 years where she practiced a devoted lifestyle, led their yoga teacher training program and became initiated into the path of Kriya Yoga through the Self-Realization Fellowship. Today, Shannon provides services through her wellness practice as a guest speaker and an entrepreneur, offering 1:1 therapies, women’s circles, workshops and spiritual retreats - guiding others towards remembrance…

Hello All,
I’m officially suspending Sacred Circle until Unity A2 has completed its move to a new facility/location. Once the transition is complete we will resume meeting on the second Saturday of the month from 10:30am - 12pm. I will keep you updated as things progress.

Summer solstice gathering is tomorrow at Mill Pond Park (565 W Bennett St, Saline 48176) from 10:30am - 12 noon. We will meet under the shade trees near the pond. Remember to bring a chair, water, etc.

We will jointly decide on a lunch venue following the event so bring your suggestions.

I’m going to host a Summer Solstice gathering on Saturday, June 21 at Mill Pond Park (565 W Bennett St, Saline 48176) from 10:30am-12 noon. This event will be outdoors so bring sunscreen, bug spray, a chair, water bottle, etc.

For those who are interested, we will go lunch afterwards.

Important information about the May 10 Sacred Circle!

Due to a conflict, the labyrinth walk at Weber Retreat Center in Adrian, MI, and lunch following is cancelled. An alternate retreat is being offered facilitated by Esther Kennedy, OP, a Dominican Sister: “A Day of Mindfulness” AKA “Why Meditate?” This event will be held May 10 at the Weber Retreat Center in Adrian from 10am - 2:30pm. Lunch is included, and the cost is a sliding scale $40 or $20 or 0 based on ability to pay, and can be paid by cash or check.

This retreat is shared by Holy Faith Church on Ann Arbor Saline Road, Saline, MI. You must register by emailing Pastor Andrea at andrea@holy-faith-church.org. Space is limited and the deadline for registration is April 21. Those registered attendees wishing to carpool may meet at. Holy Faith Church and ride with me. I have room for 3 passengers.

The labyrinth walk with lunch following will be rescheduled at a later date. Please let me know if you have questions.
