Hearing Rumors?

I've also been hearing in the last 2-3 months that I'm retiring and/or going out of business. I can assure you neither of these rumors are true. To clarify further, my wife retired in June of 2025, and I added some additional work with the county. Then in December of 2025 I took a month off for an urgent cervical spine surgery. Most recently my landlord sold the building my clinic is in. All of this fired up the Siskiyou rumor mill.

My wife remains retired, I continue to work with the county, I am fully recovered from surgery, and now have a new landlord. Other than that, I have no plans to retire or go out of business. I'm hoping this will restart a new rumor that I'm still alive, working, and continuing to serve the community to the best of my abilities.

FYI: Our office will have to be closed tomorrow on Wednesday, February 18th as Dr. Solus will be out of the office. We apologize for any inconvenience! We will re-open on Thursday, February 19th at 8:00 am for walk-ins.

Hello Siskiyou! Our office will be closed next week, Monday, February 9th - Thursday, February 12th. We will be re-opening on Monday, February 16th at 8:00 am for walk-ins. (yes, we'll be open Presidents Day! ☺️) Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Update! Dr. Solus is recovering well from his surgery! We still plan on re-opening next week on Monday, January 5th, 2026 for walk-ins @ 8:00 am. We appreciate all the well wishes for his recovery. Happy New Year to everyone!

Hello Siskiyou: We always strive to be transparent with our patients, and the community, and so we want to let everyone know what is going on at the clinic. Dr. Solus is having an urgent surgery on Tuesday, 12/2/25. He will be out of the office for all or most of the month of December. We anticipate re-opening as usual the first week of January on Monday the 5th at 8:00 am for walk-ins. We will post an update once we have more information. We genuinely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. From all of us here at Yreka Immediate Care, we wish everyone a Merry Christmas and cheers to a New Year!

Hello Siskiyou- Our office will be closed the week of November 24th-27th for Thanksgiving and will be re-opening December 1st at 8:00 am for walk-ins. We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday week!

FYI: Our office is closed next week! Dr. Solus will be out of the office November 3rd - November 6th (Monday-Thursday). We will be re-opening on Monday, November 10th at 8:00 am for walk-ins.

As a reminder, our normal hours of operation are Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm and we do walk-ins only. No appointments necessary.
