We had the pleasure of stopping by this Blue Zones Project Approved School this lovely Friday mornin' and loved seeing Valentine’s Day celebrated the healthy way! Adding fruit cups to the party menu is a sweet (and nutritious!) reflection of their Blue Zones journey, and we couldn't be more 😍 about it!! Big shoutout to Patty Aguilera, Park Avenue School Parent Liaison, for bringing families together and making wellness part of the celebration💙 Showing us all that healthy choices can still be full of love!

to this week’s Tasty Tuesday at Blue Zones Approved grocery store, La Superior Mercados in Yuba City! We loved seeing so many volunteers, walkers, and community members stop by to sample nopales (yes, cactus!) and get inspired in the kitchen.

That inspiration carried right into our dear friend Jovita’s kitchen! After sampling at La Superior, she picked up dried hibiscus flowers to brew her very own hibiscus tea and later scrambled her nopales into eggs with bell peppers and onions for a fresh, flavorful breakfast.

That’s why Blue Zones supports programs like Financial Peace University offered through The Salvation Army of Yuba Sutter, which help build financial confidence and long-term security.
