Considering supporting the Family SOUP Annual Campaign this

Thanks in huge part to our generous donors and grantors, Family SOUP will be celebrating our 34th year of providing supports & services to local families of children with special needs.

Each year, we have an annual campaign and raffle to help fund our programs including support groups, play groups, parent-to parent support, school services support, our gas card assistance program, the Able Riders therapeutic horseback riding program, and much more.

With your contributions, we will be able to continue to make a difference together in the lives of our local children with special needs and help them to reach their full potential!

Did you know that Family SOUP provides gas cards for families of children with out-of-town medical appointments?!!! ⛽️ With high gas costs and the availability of many specialist appointments requiring travel to Sacramento or further, this can be a huge help for families experiencing on-going or one-time medical needs.

These gas cards are only available thanks to private donations through our fundraising efforts, including our Annual Campaign, going on now!

Thank you The Beauty of Paint for a fun paint night for our "TEEM-G" teen group this week! Everyone did such an amazing job and Ms Christina was such a great teacher, truly showing that everyone can be an artist! 🎨🖼️🖌️

Yesterday was our "Sweet As Pie" Sensory Play Group event!

We had so much fun making banana cream pies, engaging in cooking pretend play, learning about how to make mealtimes more sensory friendly. But the biggest hit was the beautiful soft play area provided by PartyRock530 💕✨

Thank you to everyone who attended! Special thanks to PartyRock530, Sutter County Museum and Sutter County Superintendent of Schools's Infant Program for supporting this event!

The holidays are coming! Sign up now for our Sensory Santa Visit Event. Each family signs up for an individual 15 minute time slot to spend visiting with Santa & Mrs Clause, take holiday photos, do a craft together and enjoy a sweet treat at the Family SOUP Office.

This event is ideal for children who may not be able to access a visit with Santa at a public event, and could benfit from a sensory friendly experience for this holiday tradition.

Event is free, but spaces are limited, so registration is required for your individual time slot.

Open to families of children with special needs ages 0-22 living in Yuba, Sutter & Colusa Counties (siblings welcome)
