Better Sound Audiology & Hearing Aid Service Dr. Diane E. Williams, a Board Certified Doctor of Audiology, began her career in the hearing industry in 1975.

Independently owned and operated, Better Sound Audiology offers accessible and convenient care close to home and accepts all major insurances, including Medicare. In 1995, she graduated from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center with her Master’s Degree in Audiology and in 2009, graduated with her Doctorate Degree from A.T. Still University – Arizona School of Health Sciences. Dr. Williams has worked in a variety of settings since her start in the industry, but it was in 1998 that she opened her private practice – Better Sound Audiology in Yucca Valley. Initially the practice was focused on the hearing needs of the geriatric population. Over the years, though, expansion has included evaluations for all ages, hearing aid fittings, aural rehabilitation, and public educational seminars. Dr. Williams is also the district audiologist for the Morongo Unified School District. She actively participates in the various fundraisers the organization has to help the children of the Morongo Basin
