The Annual Health & Resource Fair is back! Morongo Basin Healthcare District and the Town of Yucca Valley invite you to a day of health and wellness on Saturday, May 2, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Yucca Valley Community Center.

Enjoy free health screenings, connect with local businesses and agencies, and discover resources to help you manage your health. Meet healthcare providers and explore tools for better health. The Town’s Youth Commission will host a fun zone with games and activities for kids.

A CALL FOR HEALTH FAIR VENDORS has been announced by Morongo Basin Healthcare District for its May 2 annual health fair at the Yucca Valley Community Center.

Past health fair vendors and newly interested agencies and organizations who offer resources that benefit the community, are invited to complete an application to participate in this year’s event. An application can be downloaded at MorongoBasinHealth.org. No fee is charged to participate. No sales are permitted at the event. Application deadline is April 10.

Covered California has declared a Special Enrollment Period for San Bernardino County. Because of the Governor’s State of Emergency proclamation related to recent storm outcomes, the special enrollment period allows for new enrollment or to make changes to an existing benefit plan.

Sheree Fansler is a certified Covered California enrollment counselor who can assist you with navigating the Covered California program. Assistance is provided at no cost to you but does require an appointment.

YES! Morongo Basin Community Health Center, located in 29 Palms and Yucca Valley are open and providing care to patients. The phone number 760-365-9305 is the primary contact number for both health center locations.

Why is there a new fence around the Yucca Valley campus? The fence was placed for patient and staff safety. Because multiple vehicle entrances imposed risk on pedestrian traffic within the parking lot, access was reduced to one entrance. The fence will also help deter vandalism that was occurring on the Yucca Valley property.

Enter the Yucca Valley campus from Palisade Drive on the south-side of the property. Use Prescott Avenue to turn onto Palisade Drive.

Morongo Basin Community Health Center is owned and operated by Morongo Basin Healthcare District. The health centers provide affordable medical services for adults and children, dental and behavioral healthcare, and the Wellness Wheels non-emergency free transportation program for medical and dental appointments.
