everyone wants the advanced care.
the newest technique.
the thing that finally “fixes it.”

and listen… I’m always learning. always investing in better ways to take care of you.

but none of it replaces the basics.

how you breathe
how you move
how your nervous system is functioning day to day
how consistent you are with care

that’s the foundation.

you don’t get to skip the simple things
and expect your body to do something complex.

that’s why we do what we do in the office…
and it’s why i’ll keep reminding you of the things that don’t feel flashy, but actually work.

we’re not here for quick fixes.

I’m not saying these things to make it harder on you,
I’m saying them because this is what actually works.

your body doesn’t struggle because it’s “broken.”
it struggles because it’s been stuck in the same patterns for a long time.

and one visit, or only coming in when it’s bad,
isn’t enough to change that.

real change happens when you stay consistent
long enough for your body to actually catch up.

that’s it.

that’s the difference.

I actually practice what I preach to you guys.👌🏼

Not perfectly.
But consistently.

Which means I’m doing the same things I tell you to do—
even when I don’t feel like it.

Going outside.
Moving my body.
Drinking water.
Breathing before I react.
Taking care of my body before it forces me to.

Because healing isn’t found in doing more.

It’s built in the things you keep skipping
because they feel too simple to matter.

But they do.
And they add up faster than anything else.🩵

You’ve gotten really good at pushing through
but when your nervous system stays in a constant stress state, your body can’t heal or regulate the way it’s supposed to, so instead, it compensates.🫠

that’s when you start noticing things like
tension, headaches, exhaustion, brain fog
and most people wait until the pain gets bad enough
before they do something about it

but pain is usually one of the last signals your body gives, not the first👀

We are a community centered practice driven to inspire health and empower families in the Surrey Hills, Yukon and Piedmont areas. Dr. Minard along with her staff are here to provide education, healing and better overall health to our patients.

The mission at Minard Movement Chiropractic is to provide patients with specific chiropractic adjustments which allow their bodies to perform at the highest level possible.

Part of the mission is to educate the community and allow the members to see how chiropractic care can truly benefit their lives. The members of this community deserve a complete understanding of chiropractic and what it means to truly be healthy. The true benefits of chiropractic care seem to be a hidden secret and we personally see it as our mission to inform the world around us of the greatness chiropractic can add to our lives. As a community, we need to understand there is power from within our very own bodies that will allow us to heal, move, and perform at a higher level than even considered to be possible.
