Last Friday was one of those days that truly defines the heart of Spanish Cove.
Our Annual Employee Appreciation Luncheon was lovingly created and hosted by our incredible residents as a heartfelt way to say thank you to the staff who care for them all year long.
Months in advance, residents worked together gathering items, donating money, and thoughtfully putting together beautiful baskets filled with goodies, gift cards, and making cozy blankets.
During the celebration, each staff member received their year-end bonus and then picked a number from a basket, revealing a special surprise just for them. The room was filled with gratitude, joy, and so many smiling faces.
The celebration continued down the hall where residents served an entire meal for the staff. Employees chose between Chick-fil-A or Subway, then enjoyed a table full of handmade desserts lovingly made by residents, along with a beverage. Every detail reflected the care and appreciation behind the day.
To make it even more special, residents provided golf cart rides between buildings, complete with Santa Claus as the driver, adding an extra touch of fun and holiday cheer.
This day was all about residents serving the staff and giving back in the most meaningful way.
Spanish Cove extends a heartfelt thank you to each and every resident who poured their time, generosity, and love into making our staff feel so appreciated.
