This month, Spanish Cove held the Taste of Thanksgiving event.

Residents shared a sampling of their favorite dishes, the Cove provided the turkey, and everyone passed the microphone to share what they are thankful for.

We hope everyone is enjoying the evening and preparing for a peaceful Thanksgiving tomorrow.

Part two of our Wicked Fun this month at Spanish Cove! Residents enjoyed Wicked for Good at Flick’s Brewhouse and had fun exploring all the decorated halls for the movie.

Spanish Cove has been enjoying a little Wickedly Fun this month.

Part one kicked off with a viewing of the original Wicked in Plaza Hall, complete with a charcuterie board of themed treats and snacks, along with a lively game of Wicked Bingo.

Part two continued yesterday with a trip to see Wicked for Good as it premiered in theaters.

Residents headed out to Flix Brewhouse, where a private theater was reserved for Spanish Cove to relax, enjoy the film, and order food and drinks.

Many residents also had fun creating reels in the decorated halls, with one side glowing in pink and the other in green, making for a memorable and entertaining afternoon.

It has been a Wickedly Fun month at Spanish Cove, and we look forward to more moments just like these.

Spanish Cove Shines at Chill Your Cheeks!

Spanish Cove residents bundled up and headed out for the annual Chill Your Cheeks Yukon Christmas in the Park last night, a tradition we look forward to every single year!

Several of our energetic residents took on the 5K run, while others enjoyed the cheerful one-mile walk.

Between the festive Christmas lights, carnival treats like caramel apples, holiday outfits, and glow-up accessories, the night was full of laughter, exercise, and pure Christmas joy!

After all the fun (and maybe a few chilly noses!), everyone returned to Spanish Cove for a warm and delicious chili supper prepared by our amazing Dietary Department.

It was truly a night to remember, full of community, joy, and holiday sparkle.

We love that our residents get to enjoy this wonderful event year after year!

Today we are re-sharing a video that was created several years ago during one of our annual Veterans Programs here at Spanish Cove. This video features several of our World War II veterans who called Spanish Cove home.

Some of the veterans in this video have since passed on, but they are certainly not forgotten. We are deeply thankful for each of them, and for those who are still here with us, for sharing their stories and allowing us to preserve this piece of history.

We felt today was the perfect day to share this video again in their honor.

Thank you to all veterans—past, present, and those who continue to serve. We are grateful for your sacrifice and service.
