February 1 — Heart Month & Congenital Heart Defect Awareness ❤️

We didn’t learn what congenital heart defect really meant from a textbook or a statistic.
We learned it from a front-row seat we never expected to have.

Some of you may have walked this journey with us as it was unfolding—long before we were owners of Sky Nutrition. Back when we were just the girls standing at this counter every morning, grabbing our tea like so many of you. You prayed with us, loved on us, and watched from close by.

Others may not have known us then—but you know us now. You’ve seen a rambunctious three-year-old bouncing around the shop, waving and saying hi to everyone who walks through the door. What you may not know is the heart behind that smile and the story that brought him here.

Heart Month is personal for us. It’s hospital halls, whispered prayers, and moments where we learned just how fragile—and strong—life can be. It’s also healing, miracles, and a little boy named Walker who continues to show us what courage looks like.

This month, we share his story in honor of Heart Month—to bring awareness, to offer support to families walking this road now, and to those who will one day find themselves on it.

We are endlessly thankful—for Walker and the healing God has carried him through, for our faith that held us up when we felt weak, and for the incredible medical team who became part of our story.

This month, we wear red, we share hope, and we celebrate every heartbeat. ❤️

❄️ Our parking lot has been cleared but please remember there may be black ice where it refreezes in spots so please be extra careful!

❄️ We will continue to monitor roads, school closures and adjust our hours until black ice and refreezing is no longer a concern. We do not want our team or customers in the parking lot after sun down. The last thing we want is for someone to get hurt.

❄️ Thanks to everyone who came by today! Your patience and support during this winter weather means the world to small businesses like us. We can’t wait to see you again!
