🚨 Mental health funding needs our voices, now! 🚨

The FY 2027 federal funding process is underway, and Mental Health Awareness Training (MHAT) grants are at risk. These grants support education and awareness around mental health in communities like ours.

Rep. Doris Matsui (CA) is leading a Dear Colleague letter asking Congress to support MHAT funding. Lawmakers have until March 25 to sign on.

A strong showing of support can help ensure this vital program keeps at least the same funding next year!

👉 Can you take a moment to contact your Representative and ask them to sign the letter? It's easy! Click the link below to take action!
📣 Please share to help spread the word

Thank you for standing up for mental health in our communities đź’š

Did you know that in Florida, approximately 24% of women ages 18-44 reported frequent poor mental health? Let's dive into some of the reasons why women may be reluctant to seek support for their mental wellness! 👇

During Women’s History Month, we celebrate women’s strength — but we don’t always talk about the quiet beliefs that keep many women from seeking support. Thoughts like “Other people need therapy more than I do” or “I should be grateful” can feel reasonable, yet they often delay care....

For the past several weeks, SPBH has collected denim donations for The Women's Center of Jacksonville to prepare for Sexual Assault Awareness Month (April) and Denim Day. Denim Day began in Italy in the 1990s after a r**e conviction was overturned because the survivor was wearing tight jeans. The court’s decision implied that her clothing signaled consent.
In response, women in the Italian Parliament wore denim as an act of protest and solidarity, sending a clear message: what someone wears is never consent.

Thank you to all who donated! đź’š
