April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Rural Metro Fire is proud to partner with Amberly’s Place and the entire community to ensure every child grows up in a safe, healthy, and supportive home.

In support of this mission, we are proudly displaying the Amberly’s Place Pinwheel Garden in front of our Fire Administration building. These pinwheels serve as a visual reminder of the bright, happy childhood every child deserves and our collective commitment to preventing abuse.

🚒 Welcome Our New E10 Pumper to the Fleet! 🚒

Today marks an exciting milestone for Rural Metro as we officially place our brand-new E10 Pumper into service. This apparatus represents our continued commitment to providing the highest level of protection and service to our community.

With tradition at the forefront, we honored its arrival with a “push-in” ceremony—a time-honored fire service custom dating back to the days of horse-drawn equipment. When crews returned from calls, they had to physically push their apparatus back into the station bay. Today, this tradition lives on as a symbol of teamwork, pride, and welcoming a new piece of equipment into service.

We are proud to carry on this legacy and are even more excited to see E10 hit the streets, ready to serve and protect from day one. Join us in welcoming E10 to the Rural Metro family! 🚒
