Today was a reminder of why I started.

I started to serve… to help others… to be there in the moments families need it most.

Today, we moved in a patient who we’ve had the honor of caring for through Amity Home Care of Yuma for the past year. Her needs have changed, and although her spouse wanted so deeply to keep her at home, the most loving decision was to ensure she has 24-hour care.

That’s where everything came full circle…

With the help of Amity Medical Transport, we were able to safely transition her into Casa Amity, where she will now receive the around-the-clock care she deserves.

And I can’t help but see God’s hand in all of this.

Not even 10 days ago, we lost our very first resident… and that loss left an open room. Today, that same room became a blessing for someone else who needed it.

God already knew. He made a way before we even understood.

Moments like this remind me—we don’t control everything, but when we follow His lead, everything aligns exactly how it’s meant to.

So grateful for the trust families place in us, and for our incredible team across all three of our businesses who make this level of care possible every single day.

Thankful Thursday!

To our AMAZING Amity team,

I just want to take a moment to personally thank each and every one of you who helped yesterday as we welcomed and relocated our newest resident into Casa Amity.

From coordinating transportation with Amity Medical Transport, to the hands-on support from our compassionate caregivers at Amity Home Care of Yuma, and the incredible preparation and teamwork from the staff at Casa Amity — yesterday was a true example of what it means to operate as ONE team with ONE mission.

Transitions can be overwhelming for residents and their families. But because of your professionalism, coordination, flexibility, and heart, this transition was smooth, dignified, and filled with care. You showed up. You communicated. You supported one another. And most importantly, you wrapped this resident and her family in reassurance and compassion.

That is the Amity difference.

I am beyond grateful to have each of you on Team Amity. Watching all three branches work cohesively to execute a seamless move reminds me why we do what we do. We are not just separate businesses — we are a family of services working together to serve our community with excellence.

✨ Feel Good Friday at Casa Amity ✨

Yesterday we welcomed another resident into our home, and truly, it was all hands on deck. From assessments Wednesday, and Thursday, coordinating transportation with our sister company (Amity Medical Transport ) ensuring extra support upon arrival, helping retrieve belongings from a previous location, and then making stops at her home—every step was handled with care, teamwork, and love.

On top of it all, we needed to secure a hospital bed on very short notice—and once again, our incredible community partner Hospice of Yuma Thrift Shop, Hospice of Yuma came in clutch. Their continued support, responsiveness, and heart for the people we serve never goes unnoticed. God bless them always.

Days like these remind me that this work is never done alone. We could not have done this without Team Amity—our amazing caregivers, dedicated transporters, and steadfast administrators who show up, step in, and serve wholeheartedly every single time.

Through and through, we are so blessed. God is so good to us. He is providing, He is manifesting, and He is working—in ways we can see and in ways we cannot. Amazing things are coming because He is faithful. Always.
