Offering a full range of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic services, Lane supports Interventional Cardiology, Medical & Radiation Oncology, OB/GYN, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Pediatrics, Dermatology, Wound Care and Hyperbarics, as well as Orthopedics, Labor & Delivery, In-Patient Rehabilitation, Home Health, Family
Medicine, Emergency Services and After-Hours Urgent Care. With more than 850 dedicated team members, Lane is the largest employer within the city of Zachary. The hospital continues to grow and invest in the community by recruiting new physician specialists and providing access to exceptional healthcare services, technologies and programs. 🎉 A Historic Day at Lane Regional Medical Center!

Today, we officially moved our first patients into Lane’s brand-new four-story hospital tower — a first for both Lane and the City of Zachary! 🏥

This milestone marks the culmination of more than five years of planning, design, and construction, bringing 82,000 square feet of new space to our campus.

Our new patient rooms and surgical areas were designed with comfort, safety, and advanced technology in mind — all to provide the very best care for our community. A huge thank-you to every team member who made today possible and to our patients and families for trusting Lane on this exciting journey.

Several members of Lane Regional Medical Center’s leadership team recently traveled to Texas to attend the Community Hospital Corporation (CHC) Conference. The event brought together healthcare professionals from across the country to share ideas and explore new ways to strengthen community hospitals like ours.

Team Spirit + Nostalgia = A Great Day on Scavenger Lane!

As part of our Employee Leadership Committee’s ongoing efforts to celebrate and recognize our amazing staff, we hosted our very first Scavenger Lane’s Hunt — a fun, nostalgic scavenger hunt that brought departments together for a little friendly competition and a lot of laughter!

Ten departments joined in the fun, showing incredible creativity and teamwork. Congratulations to our winners! 🏆

Join us this Veterans Day in Zachary!
We invite you to the Annual Veterans Day & Flag Raising Ceremony on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 7:30 a.m., at the Regional Veterans Park behind Lane Regional Medical Center.

🎺 Enjoy patriotic music, hear from local veterans, and take part in a meaningful community tribute. Refreshments will follow. Then stick around for the City of Zachary’s Second Annual Veterans Day Parade, starting at 9:00 a.m. following the ceremony!🚓 Parade begins at the Bank of Zachary (9:15 a.m.), and ends at Zachary High School.

Veterans are invited to ride in antique cars. Antique car owners can sign up to participate — for details, email ashleigh.mchugh@cityofzachary.org or darren.spears@zacharyschools.org.

💗✨ Pinkout at Lane — Thank You!

Last Thursday, Lane was glowing in every shade of pink — and it was more than just a color.

We came together to "support the fighters, admire the survivors, and honor the taken" during our annual Pinkout in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness. From pink shirts and ribbons to heartfelt smiles, our community showed what strength and compassion truly look like.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped spread awareness, love, and hope. Together, we make a difference — one pink moment at a time.

A coven of Lane’s employees joined the Annual Witches Ride of St. Francisville last week — a magical evening filled with laughter, creativity, and community spirit. From broom-cycles to sparkling spells, we rode in support of the communities we serve for a cause close to our hearts: supporting The Purple House Foundation and their incredible work for women in need.

We’re proud to participate in this enchanting tradition and grateful to be part of such a wonderful community that turns a little mischief into a lot of good.
