Medicine, Emergency Services and After-Hours Urgent Care. With more than 850 dedicated team members, Lane is the largest employer within the city of Zachary. Lane Regional Medical Center executives attended today’s Project MOM (Maternal Overdose Mortality) Statewide Press Conference and Catalyst Site Launch at the Louisiana State Capitol.

We are proud that Lane was recognized as an inaugural Project MOM Catalyst Site Hospital, honoring our commitment to advancing evidence-based, compassionate care for pregnant and postpartum women impacted by substance use disorder and improving outcomes for mothers and infants across Louisiana.

The event featured remarks from Louisiana Department of Health leadership, hospital executives, and clinical leaders, highlighting cross-sector collaboration to reduce maternal overdose deaths statewide.

Yesterday, Lane Regional Medical Center hosted a pre-legislative luncheon with State Senator Regina Ashford Barrow, providing an opportunity for local leaders to share updates and discuss priorities impacting Zachary and the surrounding communities.

In attendance were Lane CEO Frank Corcoran, Chief Strategic Initiatives Officer LJ Baker, and members of Lane leadership, along with Zachary Mayor David McDavid, Fire Chief Gordon Lipscomb, Police Chief Darryl Lawrence, Zachary School Board member Dr. Crystal London, and Zachary Community Schools Superintendent Ben Necaise. Participants shared insights from their respective areas and discussed community needs related to healthcare, public safety, and education.
