We were proud to be part of Jag-A-Thon, themed “Uncaged: Building Beyond the Bluff," an incredible initiative supporting student-athletes across all Southern University Athletics programs. 💙💛

This year marked an exciting milestone as Lane Regional Medical Center CEO, Frank Corcoran, and Chief Strategic Initiatives Officer, LJ Baker announced a new partnership with Southern University Athletics.

This collaboration is just the beginning, one rooted in shared values and a commitment to strengthening, not only athletic programs, but the broader campus and community for years to come.

As the closest hospital to Southern University, Lane Regional is proud to support Jaguar Nation with exceptional care—backed by the only 4-Star CMS rating in the Baton Rouge area.

We’re honored to stand alongside leaders like Athletic Director, Roman Banks, Head Softball Coach, Brittney Williams, and announcer, Kenneth Jackson, in building a stronger future together.

🥳Today we celebrated our incredible physicians and providers at the Baton Rouge Zoo!

🙏🏼We’re so grateful for their hard work, dedication, and the compassionate care they bring to our patients every single day. They, along with their families, joined members of our Board, Lane Administration, and Directors for an afternoon full of fun.

🦞From boiled crawfish and great food to games and time together, it was a well-deserved celebration for the people who make such a difference in our community.

Sneezing more than usual? Dealing with a runny nose, itchy eyes, or constant congestion? You’re not alone—allergy season is in full swing across South Louisiana.

Common allergy symptoms include:
• Sneezing
• Stuffy or runny nose
• Itchy eyes, nose, or throat
• Watery or red eyes
• Postnasal drip and fatigue

These symptoms can linger for weeks—or longer—when left untreated. The good news? Relief starts with identifying your triggers. Allergy testing and personalized treatment plans can help reduce symptoms and get you back to feeling like yourself.

We’re feeling extra lucky this St. Patrick’s Day. 🍀💚

Because of the generosity of our community, Lane Foundation’s first annual Match Day raised over $50,000 including donations from our sponsors, our team, and community members — and we are incredibly grateful.

A heartfelt thank you to our sponsors who made the match possible:
Title Sponsor
💚 Landmark Bank

Community Match Sponsors
💚 GP Louisiana Federal Credit Union
💚 WastePro
💚 Bank of Zachary
💚 Brezeale, Sachse, and Wilson
💚 Coca-Cola
💚 The Lodge at Lane

And thank you to every single person who gave, shared, and supported Baby Lane. Your generosity is helping strengthen newborn safety and breastfeeding support for families delivering at Lane Regional Medical Center.

We are lucky to serve a community that shows up for its youngest and most vulnerable members.

🍀

May your day be filled with luck, laughter, and good health. 🍀
