Dear Dr. Heirtzler’s Patient,
I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Dr. Ed Hood, and I have multiple
family run practices. Hood Dental Care is our brand name. My son, Andrew Hood is a dentist. I also
have a daughter, Allison Hood Crousillac who is a practicing hygienist. We currently employ 7 other
Associate Doctors in addition to myself and my son. I am sure that you are aware of Dr. Heirtzler’s
decision to retire after years of providing care for her many wonderful and loyal patients. Dr. Liz is an
amazing dentist and we hope that you will allow us to continue your excellent dental care.
During the transition, our team will merge with Dr. Liz’s team at Dr. Heirtzler’s current location. Dr.
Danny Marrazzo will be the dentist replacing Dr. Liz. He has such a gentle, kind heart and I am certain
the care he will provide will be the same quality you are accustomed to receiving from Dr. Liz. He will
begin seeing patients in this practice on 1/3/2022.
At Hood Dental Care, we provide state-of-the-art dentistry. We practice using modern techniques and
the latest technology available to ensure you receive the best possible care. We also have locations in
Denham Springs, Watson, Livingston and Zachary. We treat patients of all ages and offer many services
including: family dentistry, dental implants, porcelain veneers, sedation dentistry, root canal therapy,
Invisalign, same day crowns and much more. We also offer same day appointments for dental
emergencies.
We understand that every patient is unique. We listen to you. We work with most insurance plans,
offer multiple forms of financing and have an in-house dental membership plan for patients without
insurance.

In celebration of Dr. Liz’s amazing career, we would also like to invite you to a retirement reception in
her honor on January 19, 2022 between 9-11am at her dental office. Please stop by for some
refreshments and help us wish Dr. Liz much happiness in her “next” adventure.
