Cairn Recovery Resources is an outpatient SUD treatment center that offers various levels of care. We accept Medicaid as well as various private insurances.

✨ Staff Spotlight: Mike Prince ✨

This week, we’re proud to spotlight Mike Prince, who has served as a Peer Support Specialist at Cairn for 2 years and 7 months. 👏

Mike was inspired to enter recovery work after his own experiences: “After struggling with alcohol for many years, I wanted to find a job where I could help inspire others so they don’t make the same mistakes that I made.”

When asked what he enjoys most about working at Cairn, Mike shared:
“The staff I get to work with-and being able to watch clients achieve their goals-is a great feeling.”

Outside of work, Mike values time with family:
“I enjoy going to my grandchildren’s sporting events and watching movies and TV series.”

His favorite quote reflects his outlook on life:
“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift.”

What keeps him motivated each day?
“I enjoy seeing former clients doing well when they come back and visit-it makes my job worth it.”

Yesterday we celebrated a major milestone-William has successfully completed our IOP program! 👏
This accomplishment reflects his hard work, dedication, and commitment to recovery and growth. Completing IOP is no small feat-it takes courage, consistency, and a willingness to push through challenges.
William, we are incredibly proud of you and all the progress you’ve made. This is just the beginning of what’s ahead, and we can’t wait to see you continue to thrive.

Our guys spent time this week volunteering to assist a local 12 step meeting by helping prepare for their upcoming egg hunt.

Recovery is about more than just staying sober-it’s about rebuilding, reconnecting, and learning to show up in meaningful ways. Opportunities like this give our clients a chance to be part of the community, contribute, and experience the value of giving back.

These small moments matter. They build confidence, create connection, and remind us all that everyone has something to offer.

Proud of the work our guys are putting in-both in their recovery and in the community.

This week we’re excited to highlight Jennifer Adams, who recently celebrated her 1-year anniversary with Cairn Recovery Resources on January 28, 2026. Jennifer brings passion, faith, and lived experience to the work she does every day.

💬 What inspired Jennifer to work in recovery services?
"As a person in recovery myself and a member of A.A, I understand that helping another alcoholic/addicted person is how I’m able to stay sober. That being said, I’ve been blessed more than I deserve with the opportunity to get paid to do what I believe is God’s plan for my life—helping the next alcoholic/addicted person find their path to a better way of life."

💬 Her favorite part about working at Cairn:
"There are many wonderful aspects to working at Cairn Recovery. A personal one for me is that I’m respected, I feel supported by my supervisor as well as my co-workers, and I feel heard. We have fun, but most of all the leadership trusts me to do exactly what they hired me to do, and I never feel like I’m working under the thumb."

💬 Life outside of work:
"I love taking mini vaycay’s with my ‘Chicas,’ going to different restaurants, spending quality time with true friends, and spending time with my lil grandson."

Community Partnership Spotlight!!

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our incredible community partners at Forever Dads for the meaningful work they do with our clients and fathers throughout our community.

Their dedication to helping fathers grow, strengthen family relationships, and become positive role models for their children makes a lasting impact on the families we serve. Programs like theirs play a vital role in supporting recovery, rebuilding families, and creating stronger communities.
