Safe Sitter® babysitting course available in June
Genesis Women’s Services is offering a Safe Sitter® babysitting course to help teens and preteens be safe, whether they are babysitting, caring for younger siblings or home alone. There are two classes to choose from: Monday, June 8 and Friday, June 19. Both classes run from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Genesis HealthPlex, Conference Room C, 2800 Maple Ave., Zanesville. Pre-registration is required. The cost is $50, which includes a pizza lunch, two snacks and a babysitter's training handbook. This class fills up quickly, so register today. It’s a time to recognize the life-changing impact of organ, eye and tissue donation. Plus, the generosity of people in our community who make it possible.
Because of donors in southeastern Ohio, Genesis HealthCare System received the Platinum Award in the LifeLine of Ohio 2025 DoNation Campaign.
In 2025, our community made a powerful impact:
· 37 organ donations that helped save 28 lives
· 26 tissue donations
· 56 eye donations
One donor can save up to eight lives and help heal more than 75 others.
