Today, 9/23, Joe would have been 100 years old.
As some of you know, we lost Joe back in July. He passed away at 99 years old.
I’m positive the ginseng industry would be different, local and abroad, without him taking a chance as a ginseng dealer nearly 60 years ago. Ironically when he passed he was America’s oldest ginseng dealer.
Most of you have came into the shop for many, many years. Some of you even 30-40 years. A lot of you have great stories and memories of Joe as I hear them all the time ❤️. You can also share your stores with me in the comments, I’d love to read them.
Although he handed over the reigns of the business years ago, he still loved to come in the shop and see all the customers and sort roots in the back room from time to time. I hope you all will continue to stop in and let me be your root dealer as I hold the highest of standards just like Joe. I appreciate all of you.
