We take this day to honor and remember those who lost their lives at Pearl Harbor.

President Ronald Reagan proclaimed December 7, 1984, as Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. However, it was not until 1994 that Congress passed a joint resolution, signed into law by President Bill Clinton, officially designating December 7 as National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.
