I helped so many families find their dream homes this year. Here's what that really means...

Children got a new living room to play with their toys in.

Dogs have a new paradise of a backyard to run around in.

Cats are climbing the freshly put-up Christmas tree (and probably breaking a few ornaments while they're at it).

Moms are decorating their garlands in a new spot this year.

I absolutely love helping families turn houses into homes. I will never get over how emotional it can be to hand a set of keys to someone across the closing table and watch their smile grow larger.

After much convincing, Santa Claus has decided to write personalized letters to the kids here in the South Lake Tahoe area. 📜

Letter requests must be submitted by December 17th so that Santa will still have time to finish his Christmas Eve preparations! 🎄

My favorite recipe for Christmas cookies! First, gather all of the ingredients. Second, take a cute picture for social media.

Finally (and this is the most important step), go to Sugar Pine Bakery here in South Lake Tahoe and buy as many of their cookies as you can. Give them to friends and family, and they'll think you baked them! Win-win. Merry Christmas everyone! 😉

🎄There’s something so special about traditions, those little things we do year after year that somehow become the heartbeat of the holidays.

As kids, we didn’t realize how much those moments mattered - like baking cookies with mom, driving around to look at Christmas lights, or opening one present on Christmas Eve. But now, as adults, we realize that’s what made Christmas feel like magic.

Traditions give us a sense of comfort and belonging. They remind us of who we are, where we’ve come from, and the people we love most. And the best part? We get to pass them down or create new ones that will one day be remembered the same way.

Every year, my family and I slip into our cozy jammies and patiently look out the front window waiting for annual Lake Tahoe Fire Christmas Engine Truck to drive-by. We all bundle up and have our shoes ready by the door to run outside and catch it. The fire truck goes up and down every street, gives out candy canes, and has been a tradition as long as I can remember. You can always tell the truck is getting closer by the city tracker and music playing! Seeing the wonder and awe in my kids’ eyes as the trucks roll through our neighborhood is one of our favorite traditions — and it warms my heart every time. 🚒

So, what’s one Christmas tradition you still hold onto or one you’ve started with your own family?

Every once in a while, a real estate story comes full circle — and this one was such a fun one to be part of!

My amazing client (and talented architect friend), Natalia, called me out of the blue one day while working on plans for our own home build process.
