Serving People With Brain Injury and Mental Illness Since 2000 Rosie and Don started Paradigm Residential Services on January 6, 2000.

We started our company to give a “lift up” to those individuals who often times have been forgotten by society. We started Paradigm because we felt there could be places in which individuals could call home. We strongly feel home is a place where memories are made and cherished. We are committed to making our homes a place where an individual should feel safe, secure and happy. We didn’t want to create just another group home. Minnesota has plenty of group homes. Rosie and Don wanted to give a genesis to environments in which individuals may choose to live and cohabitate with other individuals, being empowered by their differences not debilitated by them. We wanted to create environments in the home that would build human dignity rather than strip it away. We wanted homes people would be proud to live in, an environment that would offer safety and dignity. Paradigm Residential Services, Inc. is so much more than residential services, it is a place where the spirit can grow and be nurtured. It is a place where one human soul touches another. We are very proud of what we do. is more than an entity created by Rosie or Don. Paradigm is an entity unto itself, created by something larger than imagined by us, and guided by a spirit larger than both of us.

Paradigm Residential Services, Inc. is hiring caring (1/2 time and 3/4 time) Direct Suppot Specialists (DSP) for homes in Champlin, Dayton, Elk River, Princeton and Monticello. We work with higher functioning adults that need only prompts to complete ADL’s. Our staff take clients to activities such as Twins Games, Fairs, Movies and other fun planned activities. Get paid to go out and have fun. Make a huge difference in the lives of the individuals you work with in your home. Cooking, cleaning are some of the job duties you will have along with medication administration, knowing CPR, blood borne pathogens, behavior management. All of these are paid training we provide. Our wages begin at $15.00 and $15.25 weekends. We will be offering progressive wage increases. For PT and 3/4 Time positions our benefits are: tuition assistance, PTO, retirement, family leave, and a hire on bonus, weekends recieve a larger hiring bonus. Just like any other business, times change. We have an all new structure, hiring/implementing three Program Directors. We are following a map Roseanne Smith (Co-Owner) set up to allow more contact with our clients. Smaller caseloads = better services. We also have a new Office Coordinator! I have posted just a few pictures here to introduce you all to: Melanie, Shawntrice, Morgan, and Leah (from left to right). I also have some pictures today of Nancy Barnes, our Financial Administrator. She has informed me (in typical fashion) that as of today, January 25, 2022 she has been with us for 7,036 days. Cyndi who does our HR was out doing orientation paperwork for new staff.

“……..and we are back!” This is what is going on right now at Paradigm Residential Services, Inc. Now that most COVID restrictions have been lifted there is a confetti feud (all in fun) taking place as people socially connect with their team members It is needed, it is fun, it is messy, but most of all it creates many smiles and conversation. In the first picture, a group of six House Supervisors are in training with me. We received a surprise attack by the PD’s in our office. In other pictures you will see a very small group of individuals finally getting out to see the beauty of this world. Munsinger Gardens is the stop they chose. In others, there are pics of me visiting a couple of homes. In one of the pictures, Kathy Monitor (House Supervisor) was glad to give up a germ killing light that was to be run two times a day during COVID. These little lamps were about 350 bucks each. Thanks to a Department of Health Grant that PRSI received we could purchase one of these for every house for use in the common areas of the home. As I have stated, “these individuals are the best staff that I have ever worked with in this field.” I am so proud of our team. I am so proud of how they care for our clients. Other pics shown are a few of the individuals that we have had the privilege of providing services to. As you can see in one of the confetti pics, individuals living in our homes have also taken part in the confetti feud. As I said….”we are back!”

At Paradigm Residential Services, Inc. We had not met in person for approximately 16 months. A most productive House Supervisors Meeting with our 3 PD’s , HR, and of course myself. Lol. However, the best part of the meeting was the shenanigans at the end…….and we are back. Love ❤️ this group of individuals. 🙏.
