Why is it so hard to forgive someone who’s hurt you?

Because sometimes…
you’re not just forgiving what happened —
you’re grieving what could have been.

It’s the pain of lost potential.
The version of the relationship you kept hoping for.
The mother, the friend, the partner you wished they could be.

Forgiveness isn’t about pretending it didn’t hurt.
It’s about accepting that the story won’t change —
but you can.

Healing your inner child means making peace with the version of love you never received,
and giving that love to yourself now. 🌿

Depression has a way of convincing you that your thoughts are facts.
It whispers,
“Nothing will ever change.”
“You’re not good enough.”
“No one really cares.”

And after hearing those thoughts long enough, you start to believe them.

But here’s the truth — depression lies.
It distorts the way we see ourselves, others, and the world.
That’s where CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) comes in.

CBT helps you slow down and notice those automatic negative thoughts — the ones that play in the background like a broken record.
It teaches you to question them instead of accepting them.
To ask,
“Is this thought true?”
“Is there another way to see this?”
And slowly, thought by thought, the fog begins to lift.

Healing isn’t about forcing positivity — it’s about learning to see reality more clearly, and treating yourself with compassion in the process. 🌿

If your mind feels heavy today, remember — your thoughts are not facts. And you are not your depression. 💛

✨ Healing isn’t about becoming someone new — it’s about remembering who you were before the world told you who to be.

Many of us, especially in cultures where appearances and approval mean everything, learned to dim our light to belong.
But your light was never too much — it was just too real for a world still learning to embrace authenticity. 🌿

Healing means reclaiming your worth — without the titles, validation, or applause.
It means breaking the barriers that taught you to doubt yourself.
It means saying:
“I am more than the labels. I am enough as I am.”

Shame is that voice in your head that says,
'You’re not good enough. You don’t belong. If people really knew you, they’d leave.'
And if you grew up in an Indian household or community,
you probably heard that voice—a lot.
Not always directly.
But in the side comments.
In the comparisons.
In the ‘log kya kahenge’ silence.
In our culture, we are taught to care deeply about what others think—how we dress, how we talk, who we date, what job we take, even how we express emotion.
But here’s the truth: Shame grows in silence.
And every time we pretend just to please others, we lose a little piece of ourselves.
Because healing starts the moment we say:
‘This is who I am—and I’m still worthy of love and belonging.’

We always want what we can’t have.
A person. A feeling. A life that exists just slightly out of reach.

Buddhism calls this craving — the grasping that keeps us stuck in the loop of “if only.”
Psychology calls it attachment — the way our minds mistake desire for destiny.

But here’s the truth: wanting isn’t wrong.
It’s the chasing that drains us. The belief that peace lives somewhere outside of now.

Try telling yourself:

“I can want it and still be whole without it.”
“I can stop chasing and start choosing.”

When you stop fighting for what isn’t yours, you make room for what is..
