Again, this year Restore Life Chiropractic has decided to give back to our community via the Isaiah 117 House. This is a local house in the area that provides a safe, comforting space to children and teens that have been removed from their homes and are awaiting foster placement. The Isaiah 117 House exists to reduce trauma for children entering the foster system, lighten the load for the Department of Child Services, and ease the transition for foster families.
They have said their most need lies in items for teenagers right now! Please help us by bringing in NEW (only new will be accepted) things geared towards teens such as:
Teenage appropriate clothing for girls and boys (adult sizes S/M/L/XL/XXL, but things teens will like such as graphic or plain T's, hoodies, sweatshirts, long sleeve t-shirts, sweatpants, joggers, yoga pants, leggings, jeans, etc)
Their Critical Needs List Currently Includes:
- Girls- Adult Medium Underwear
- Boys: Adult 2XL, Large, and Medium Underwear
(boxers)
- Boys: 14-16 Winter Pajamas
Teen-Appropriate Novelty Items are also welcome, things like:
-Water Bottles
-Sports equipement/balls/accessories- or team themed items
-Light type things (LED strips, projector, night sky lights)
-Electronics, wireless headphones, chargers, etc (any brand)
-Makeup/beauty items, jewelry, crossbody bags, etc
-More complex Lego sets
They also accept gift cards of ANY denomination to places nearby such as:
-Meijer
-Old Navy
-Ross
-TJ Maxx
-Culvers
-Taco Bell
-Jimmy Johns
-McDonalds
-Chick Fil-A
