Congratulations Dannetta Sanders, LPN, our Quest for Excellence winner for 2025! We are looking forward to honoring this year's outstanding Quest Winners at the banquet on November 13 at the Marriott in Indianapolis.
Dannetta Sanders, an LPN at Zionsville Meadows, has been a dedicated member of our clinical team for the past 13 years. As part of our Memory Care Unit, Dannetta brings heart, skill, and a deep sense of purpose to her work every day. Her passion for caring for residents with memory challenges shines through in everything she does. As she puts it, “There is something special about working with them and meeting them where they are each and every day.”
Dannetta’s journey into long-term care began at a young age when her grandfather fell seriously ill and required round-the clock care. Her family welcomed him into their home, and Dannetta played an active role in supporting him. That personal experience inspired her to become a CNA and, later, a nurse, shaping the compassionate approach she brings to her work today.
Outside of work, Dannetta is a devoted wife and mother. She and her husband share five children and run a family-owned restaurant, balancing their professional lives with a strong sense of family and community. In her downtime, she enjoys watching movies—a simple joy that helps her recharge after giving so much of herself to others.
Dannetta was nominated for the Quest for Excellence award because of her unwavering compassion and the lasting impact she makes on our residents. She truly embodies our core values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.
