Did you know that our skin is our largest organ? It is unique and comes in so many different colors yet it's function remains the same, to protect us. If you find yourself with frequent rashes or breakouts, no matter your age, your skin is trying to rid itself of toxins. When was the last time you got your lymphatic system cranked up? Seriously, when was the last time you actually got your heart rate up, not the last time you remember AND really sweated? Sweating through exercise is one of many ways to help your largest organ detox. So often we don't need a magic cream nor magic pill to mask the symptoms but some understanding of what's going on to amend the problem for good.

These are some of the most important ingredients to look out for. Nutrition labels can be sneaky, so be sure to carefully read them. Interpretation of these confusing labels is something I try to teach to all of my clients and students.

Here are a few tips to help you get started:
1. Check the serving size & % Daily Value
2. Avoid or limit certain ingredients
3. Ensure beneficial nutrients
4. Make sure the item doesn't have too much saturated fat, trans fats or sodium.

How do you like to workout? In the gym, outside, comfort of home. Exercise releases endorphins which pumps up that feel good sense. When we workout the extra load placed on our muscles creates tiny micro-tears in the muscle. This is normal and required for muscle growth but it can lead to soreness. There are foods you can eat which provide the minerals you need to recover & build your strength & endurance.

Are your “moist area” drying up like a desert? It is the silent epidemic that millions of women over 30 suffer from, but it is rarely spoken about.

Every year, the Environmental Working Group (EWG) releases its much-anticipated Dirty Dozen and Clean Fifteen lists—two simple tools that help us make better choices at the grocery store, especially when it comes to reducing our exposure to pesticides.
👉prioritize organic for the dirty dozen because that where the most toxins are.
👉don’t stress the clean fifteen → lowest pesticide load
👉wash your produce
👉most importantly eat the fruits and vegetables

đŸ“đŸđŸŽđŸ‡đŸ«because a non-organic berry is still better than no berry at all

This is how you canr educe your toxic load. Small steps equal big change.

The Dirty Dozen is a list of the 12 conventionally grown fruits and vegetables that contain the highest levels of pesticide residue—even after washing and peeling. These are the ones I recommend buying organic whenever you can.

On the flip side, the Clean Fifteen highlights produce with the lowest levels of pesticide residue, making them safer bets when organic isn’t an option.

Why does this matter?
Even low levels of pesticides can add up over time, and certain populations—like kids, pregnant people, and those with chronic health issues—may be more vulnerable to their effects.

The EWG’s list is based on rigorous testing done by the USDA and FDA, so it gives us a solid foundation to make informed, empowered choices.
