🧪This Black History Month, Clinical Laboratory Inc. honors Dr. William Augustus Hinton, Harvard Medical School physician widely recognized as the "Dean of Black Microbiologists".

Dr. Hinton was a pioneering bacteriologist and physician whose work transformed laboratory medicine.

During his career, Dr. Hinton developed the Hinton Test, one of the first reliable blood tests for syphilis adopted by the U.S. Public Health Service. His contributions in the field of laboratory science laid the groundwork for modern microbiology and infectious disease testing. 🧫

Beyond his scientific achievements, Dr. Hinton was a dedicated educator at Harvard Medical School, where he trained generations of physicians and scientists- shaping the future of medicine through both innovation and mentorship.
