His security skills were honed by attending certification courses, trainings, and actual work experience in the arena of personal and corporate security and investigation. During his corporate security career, Melvyn survived three ambushes and several attempts on his life, death threats, and a bomb threat. He also organized rescue operations of team members and the president of a multinational corporation during crisis situations. As a Private Investigator/Detective/Security Consultant, he conducted Security Risk Assessments for an International NGO, thus preventing loss of lives of both international NGO officers and local counterparts; reunited two missing daughters with their father, who is a U.S. Navy Officer; saved a young American executive from a criminal syndicate; located hundreds of skips, who went into hiding to escape financial obligations, debts, etc., resulting to recovery of cash and property; and exposed dozens of husbands and wives who are cheating on their partners; and many more. He also provided security consulting and training services for several Japanese multinational corporations. He was a Certified Security Professional, Certified Security Assessor, Certified Security Training Director, Accredited Investigator, Licensed Private Detective, and Licensed Security Officer.
