Meet our Kundalini yoga teacher - Ella!
Sat Nam 🙏🕊️
My spiritual name is Akal Harpreet Kaur ✨
I came to Kundalini Yoga in 2015 - at a time when it became clear that conversations, understanding, and insights alone were not enough 🧠
I needed a way to actually change my state - in the body, in nervous system responses, in how I experience stress, uncertainty, anger, and vulnerability 🌿
This path led me in 2019 to the International Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training with Harijiwan - the closest student of Yogi Bhajan 🙏
But the most important learning didn’t happen there.
It happened in daily practice:
in observing how breath, movement, and attention literally rewrote inner reactions 🔄
Kundalini Yoga, as I teach it, is a system of working with the psyche through the body 🧘♀️
We don’t aim to “look right” in the postures.
We explore what happens when the nervous system meets load, discomfort, fatigue, and silence 🤍
That is where it becomes clear how we actually live.
In practice, we use kriyas, breath, rhythm, and meditation as tools of regulation 🌀
- to reduce baseline anxiety, restore contact with ourselves, and gradually move out of automatic protective reactions 🌊
My background as a clinical psychologist allows me to integrate somatic practice with a deep understanding of how the psyche works 🧠✨
These classes are not about “becoming better.”
They are about feeling alive again, grounded, and capable of holding your own life 🤍 No special preparation is required.
It won’t be easy - but it will be honest.
And that’s exactly what brings results 🙏🤍
