Well, it's fast approaching the end of the calendar year.

It feels like the perfect time to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year — and also to say a huge thank you for your support over the past 12 months.

The Chrissy tree is up at HGS, and as the year draws to a close, we want to sayour thanks.
It has taken a long time, but An Bang seems to be finding its vibrant self again after the 2020/21 car-crash years. We have loved catching up with so many familiar faces and meeting new ones along the way.

Your support means a lot — whether you have visited us again, recommended us to friends, or taken the time to like or comment on our posts in the groups we are part of.

Thanh will never ask for a review because she wants your time here to be completely hassle-free. However, if you do have a moment, reviews really do help a small business that is run from the heart.

Lately we’ve seen a number of posts and comments about people being pressured for tips and/or reviews at some spas.
Since opening in 2016, we have never done this, and we never will.

Your Time Is Your Time and your comfort, privacy, and relaxation always come first.

Thanh opened this spa to create a space built on her own expectations:
No staff phones in treatment rooms (yes, it's a basic, but it still happens at some places)
No pressure, no awkward moments
Genuine care, professionalism, and customer satisfaction is always what Thanh aims for.

Maybe that’s part of why we have a number of awards, such a high rate of returning guests, so many referrals, and why many of our customers have become personal friends over the years.

It’s hard to believe how far we’ve come in 9 Years.

Winner of 3 TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards — '20, '24, '25 — and even had Lonely Planet recommend us as a “go-to” spot.

But it all feels like a lifetime ago when it started — after 8–10 months of planning, discussions, finding an appropriate property and then you find out just what a spa really need.
Quality towels — ✅
Massage tables — ✅
Massage chairs — ✅
It's a long list!

Then, Opening Day.
Even that was an adventure!
We had to find the right person, born in the right year, to be our first “lucky” guest.
Shout-out to, then local expat, Peter, who fit the bill perfectly!

From there, it wasn’t a “build it and they will come” story — it was lots of marketing, hard work, and heart.

Since then, we’ve continued to grow — adding the hugely popular Japanese Hair Halo, head massage, and facial experiences, plus a full range of cosmetic tattooing, amongst other things.

Best of all, we’ve welcomed so many wonderful guests, many who’ve become friends, and we’re grateful for the repeat visitors and referrals that keep our family growing.
