The girl: we only sell what is available on our backyard. We only eat products we grow our own in place of rice.
She then smiled shyfull exposing those typical set of black teeth of the ethnic people of Vietnam. I paid for all the carrots and gave her a bit extra in the hope that their family dinner tonight would be better with an extra dish or two.
Happiness glowed in her eyes. She repeatedly said “thank you” and promised to bring me a “free range” chicken as a gift tomorrow morning. I nodded and said goodbye.
It was getting late as there were fewer people in the market. Looking around, it seemed to me the locals here were just as simple and natural as the girl selling the carrots. Their day by day wish is to have just enough food on the table…

Establishing a selling point for home-based products, generating income for destitute people: food (vegetables, fruits, meat …) will be handpicked from home gardens of ethnic minorities in remote areas and directly distributed to the consumers. GreenHand has now built a product collection network in the Central Highlands and will continue to expand. GreenHand does not work with farms nor food suppliers to absolutely guarantee 100% organic. Our products are self-cultivated by the ethnic people and grown naturally on fertile basalt soil for the purpose of providing food for the family.
Community Support: GreenHand does not operate as a charity, however, GreenHand will contribute a percentage of products sold to GreenHand sale fund, which will be used for practical activities organized by many charity groups that GreenHand partnered with. GreenHand does not set a profit as the top priority, the products sold are guaranteed at the most competitive price compared to the same products in the market.
Fair and Transparence: GreenHand fund will be displayed publicly and continuously updated on the system. All activities, plans as well as balance from the funds are reported directly on the system.Customers or members of GreenHand can look up the amount of money from the purchase or directly contribute to the fund on the system.
Sympathy: As the model is encapsulated, GreenHand products will limit the number of deliveries per day.
Public Health: GreenHand puts public health into its business ethics criteria, the products will be tightly controlled and collected directly at home gardens, no chemical fertilizers, no pesticides nor stimulus, 100% chemical-free produce. Collection and distribution information will be updated regularly on the GreenHand system, which is the least that GreenHand will perform to build trust and health for the community.
