Last week I got to be a participant in the ASCA Level 1 course in Nadi, Fiji! Super stoked that I got to take a short break from my research and engage in coaching and education again. Learning about what the human body is capable of and how to get it to that point is thrilling for me, so to be a student under Dr Trevor’s tutorship was an incredibly enriching experience. Thank you to ONOC & OSEP for investing in me as one of your Regional Master Educators. Thank you to Dr Trevor Clark who put up with my sports physiology, nutrition, and archery related questions throughout the week. Thank you to the overwhelmingly experienced coaches in the room who shared their wisdom, knowledge, and skills with me (and who I pestered and peer-pressured into becoming my friends 🤣). Thank you for becoming both my mentors and my friends.

Very enjoyable 4 days with the OSEP team this week! Vinaka vaka levu to Dr Trevor Clark, ONOC, and everyone involved for investing in us as coaches.

Apr 08, 2024 | Strength and conditioning coaches from the region have gathered in Fiji this week with an aim to work towards accreditation under the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA).

Home for 2024 🫶🏾

In case you missed it, in the beginning of February I moved to Dunedin to finish off my Master of Physiotherapy! I’m excited to be here, and I miss everyone terribly. I didn’t want to leave but everyone that I wanted to stay for scolded me 😂 and pushed me to go, to learn more, to pursue my dreams, and, most importantly, to grow. So, here I am (against my will, almost) with a home-shaped hole in my heart, taking it one step forward at a time towards the finish line of my degree!
