Beth Coates Acupuncture Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese medicine-based approach to treating a variety of conditions by triggering specific points on the skin with needles.

Acupuncture is a form of healthcare that originated in ancient China some 2,500 years ago, which is now widely practiced across the world. The focus is on the whole individual rather than on a single ailment, since the emotional, mental, and physical aspects of a person are understood to be interconnected. It is a holistic form of treatment and may also include using techniques such as moxibustion, cupping, and electro acupuncture, but treatment predominantly involves the insertion of fine, single-use, disposable needles under the skin. Before any course of acupuncture your practitioner will conduct a full medical history. In addition to this, they may use other Traditional Chinese diagnostic techniques such as taking your pulse and looking at your tongue. This provides your practitioner with the information they need to create an effective treatment plan that is tailored just for you, with the aim of improving mind, body and spirit.

Did you know that acupuncture can increase the success rate of IVF by up to 33%!

I have had the absolute pleasure in supporting 5 ladies through this process recently. One is due to give birth in the next week or two, three who have recently had positive tests (within weeks of each other) and another who has had her transfer and is eagerly awaiting positive news (🙏).

I am so privileged to share this time with them and support them in their process, whilst also reducing their stress and improving overall wellbeing.
