In honor of National School-Based Healthcare Awareness Month, today we are proud to highlight Olivia! ✨💗

Olivia is an Adolescent Sexual Health Educator with Together For Youth! She provides classroom health education where she travels to middle and high schools all across four counties- Bremer, Black Hawk, Butler, and Buchanan. She steps into the classroom and sheds light on important topics such as healthy relationships, s*xual consent, safe s*x practices, and so much more! Olivia has been with Together For Youth since August 2025, and we are so glad to have her as part of our team!

Olivia also provides assistance and support at Together For Youth's Young Parents Together program, either helping in childcare or connecting with young parents while they shop at the Northeast Iowa Food Bank!

What Olivia loves about Success Street is how accessible our services are to students! Being right in the school, or being able to meet with students at other Cedar Falls/Waterloo schools, really bridges that gap between school and healthcare needs. 💗

For the past six years, Ivy has dedicated herself to supporting students’ health and well-being — including five impactful years at Expo Alternative. Today, she serves as a floating health assistant across East, West, and Carver, ensuring students have access to compassionate care wherever they are.

Ivy is grateful to have the option of referring students to Success Street for additional health and wellness services when they need extra support. As she shares: “They develop a close bond with students and they feel safe. They feel heard without judgement”

Our partnership with area school nurses and health assistants like Ivy is essential. Together, we are making a meaningful difference in students’ health, confidence, and ability to thrive both in and out of the classroom. 💙
