Most women I work with are already doing so much - eating better, tracking ovulation, managing supplements, even cutting out coffee. ☕️

But despite these things, they're still not seeing results.

And month after month that nagging feeling gets louder...

'What am I missing?'

For a lot of women, one missing factor is stress.

Because in today's world so many of us are living with dysregulated nervous systems, and we don't even realise.

This is when our body is in a fight-or-flight stress response that can't be shut off easily, most of the day.

I call this hidden fertility blocker - The Hijacker.

And she creates an internal state that signals to our reproductive system: Now's not a safe time for pregnancy.

On its own it might not be impacting your fertility significantly, but paired with other fertility obstacles - like inflammation, nutrient deficiencies, hormone imbalances or gut issues, it can tip the scales.

You might notice signs like:

🧠 Racing thoughts or trouble switching off
🥱 Tired but can't relax
📉 Trouble going or staying asleep
💬 Overthinking and second-guessing every decision

Which suggests you have stress hormones that are elevated longer than they should be, or at the wrong times of day.

But the good news is, once you understand what’s driving that stress pattern, you can start shifting it so you can help your body feel safe enough to conceive again.

→ I've created a free science-backed quiz to help you identify what's actually getting the way of you and your pregnancy... Whether it's stress - or one of the other 7 Hidden Fertility Saboteurs I see women struggling with.

👇 Comment or DM “QUIZ” and I’ll send you the link to uncover your unique fertility obstacles, so you have the best chance of falling pregnant sooner 💛

Many women trying to conceive don't realise they're starting each day with a habit that's disrupting their hormones. ⬇️

Skipping breakfast or choosing something like cereal or toast will cause a blood sugar can spike first thing in the morning - and that can set the tone for your glucose regulation for the rest of the day.

The resulting blood sugar swings interfere with your hormones by:

→ Increasing stress hormones
→ Fuelling inflammation
→ Increasing the risk or severity or Insulin Resistance or conditions like PCOS

❌ All of which are disrupting your hormone balance and egg quality.

But the good news is, just a few simple changes to your morning routine can fix this.

🥑 Here's the fertility breakfast formula I use with my clients, to support their hormones:

✅ Eat within 30-60 mins of waking
✅ Before coffee
✅ Include 20-25g of protein (most women only get 5-10g!)
✅ Add healthy fats to slow sugar absorption (i.e. avocado, nuts/seeds)

Save this post for my go-to fertility breakfast ideas - the same ones that have helped so many women feel more energised and regulated.

I’ve also added a guide to the protein content of common breakfast foods to make planning even easier.

If you’ve been trying to conceive with PCOS, you’ve probably been told one of these things:

“Lose weight.”
“Here’s a prescription for Metformin.”
"You'll need ovulation induction to get pregnant"

But actually...

Diet and lifestyle interventions are considered the first-line treatment for PCOS. Meaning these are what you should focus on FIRST.

Here are 3 steps that actually make a difference when you’re TTC with PCOS:

1️⃣ Get testing to uncover your root cause

Research shows PCOS is highly variable: some women struggle with insulin resistance, others with high androgens (testosterone), and others with inflammation.

That’s why testing is so important, because if you don’t know the root cause, you could be focusing on the wrong thing.

2️⃣ Swap processed foods for whole foods

Whole-food, Mediterranean-style diets are proven to reduce insulin resistance, lower inflammation, and improve ovulation rates. Think colourful veg, wholegrains, quality protein (especially seafood), beans/legumes, and healthy fats (including olive oil).

3️⃣ Build balanced meals with slow-release carbs

Make sure to always have protein, fibre and healthy fats with your meals, plus low-GI carbs like sweet potato, quinoa, wild rice, or lentils to stabilise blood sugar and improve insulin sensitivity - two major drivers of fertility outcomes in PCOS .

🌱 PCOS definitely doesn’t mean falling pregnant naturally is impossible.

But you do need a strategy that addresses what's going on inside your unique body - not just a generic approach.

If you're ready to discover the underlying cause that could be standing in your way of being able to conceive, then:

Take my free 5-minute quiz to discover your #1 fertility obstacle and how to overcome it.

I see you… Reading all the books, following all the fertility accounts, joining the forums. 🙇‍♀️📚
Trying to figure this all out on your own.

I was in the exact same place in 2018 - feeling overwhelmed, trying everything, but still facing the same disappointment every month. 💔

Here’s the thing:

When you stay stuck in overwhelm and confusion, you give your power away.

But you can take it back - when you stop trying to figure it out yourself and get a real, strategic plan.

👉 My approach to fertility nutrition isn’t just about “eating healthy” or taking a prenatal vitamin.

It’s about uncovering your unique barriers to conception and creating the right internal environment for a healthy pregnancy - and that looks different for every woman. 💫

Because what you don’t need, is another one-size-fits-all approach.

✨ A fertility nutritionist can help you:

✔️ Identify hidden barriers to conception
✔️ Decode your body’s unique needs
✔️ Create a personalised nutrition plan that truly supports your fertility
✔️ Cut through the noise of conflicting advice

If you’ve been trying to conceive for a while, you might recognise these signs.

And if you’re ready for personalised support to move forward with confidence (and a real, sustainable plan), DM me the word “CLARITY”. I’d love to chat to you more.

Because when you focus on the right things, targeted nutrition can be a game-changer for your health and your fertility. 💛
