Why we do or don’t do anything is because of how we think it’s going to make us feel.

But if you’re not intentional with how you *want* to feel, and truly the things that will actually make you feel the way you want to feel, this can get muddled.

It’s why you can lose 20lbs and still not be happy with your body.

It’s why you can get a promotion and still be anxious and overwhelmed at work.

How to actually get out of self-sabotage 👉🏻

First you have to actually acknowledge this cycle, and that you’re struggling to show up *only* because you’re not believing it’s working.

Think about it, when you TRULY believe something is working and it’s only a matter of time before you get what you want, you SHOW UP!

After you have awareness, you’re going to go to work to:
1) find all the things that prove to you it IS actually working, and
2) focus on the process and what you are doing, because you KNOW when you keep showing up, keep evaluating and testing things, you WILL eventually create the result you want

Nothing fuels motivation and *actually* taking action quite like desire.

Instead of focusing on why you *don’t* want to be where you’re currently at, focus on why you *deeply* want to be where you’re going (and, how the actions you take will without a doubt get you there).

Change happens in the here and now.

But sometimes we get so focused on a future that is magically *so different* and *so much better* that we either lose sight of what we can be doing in the here and now, OR it all feels too big and too overwhelming and we get stuck not knowing where to start.

The solution is the energy of a healthier you, right now TODAY.

You don’t have to have it all figured out. You don’t need to fully see how all the pieces of your well-being come together.

But when you show up to ask yourself what you can be doing right now today to prioritize your own well-being and happiness, and then do that thing, those individual choices and actions add up over time. That’s how one day you wake up and say “holy crap I have transformed my life!” 🙌🏻

We are nearly 3 weeks into the year and I am posting my “welcome to the year” post 🤷‍♀️

This is my version of messy + imperfect action. The action I take when I decide to give myself grace for the extended IG break I took. When I decide not to worry about crafting the “perfect” post. When I believe I go first and set the example of letting go of my own overwhelm and procrastination so that my clients can do it too.

Here are some questions to get you started 👇🏻

• Where do you notice the most clutter in your life currently?
• What do you envision when you envision a declutterred life for yourself?
• Who is the version of you who is able to let go of clutter and keep things organized? What is she thinking and feeling?
• What decisions have you been putting off? How has putting off those decisions created clutter for you?
• What is holding you back from making these decisions?
• The version of you who makes clear empowered decisions, what is she thinking and feeling? How does she treat herself in her decisions and after making decisions?
• The version of you who is decisive and organized, what does she believe about herself?
