Our Angels Camp Thrift Store is looking for a dedicated volunteer to help on Fridays and Saturdays and your time could make a lasting difference.

Every sale at our thrift stores helps provide free, high-quality hospice care and grief support for local families. By giving just a few hours a week, you’re helping ensure that no one in Amador or Calaveras Counties faces the end of life alone.

💜 Virtual Grief Support Group 💜

Hospice of Amador & Calaveras is offering a 6-week online grief support group, facilitated by our Bereavement Coordinator, Tonya Garcia, MCE.

📖 The group will be based on Alan Wolfelt, Ph.D.’s book Understanding Your Grief (provided FREE to registered participants). Together, we’ll explore Dr. Wolfelt’s Ten Touchstones—guiding principles to help engage with grief and move toward healing.

Our 26th annual “Celebrate Life” Art Auction on the Lawn was a huge success — together we raised over $66,000 to support compassionate, quality end-of-life care for patients and families in Amador and Calaveras Counties. 💜

We are deeply grateful to our incredible donors, artists, volunteers, and guests who made this event possible. A very special thank-you to Karmére Winery for donating the wine 🍷 and hosting us at their beautiful venue!

Since 1982, Hospice of Amador and Calaveras has been working to meet the needs of those nearing the end of their lives. Hospice care neither hastens nor postpones death but exists in the hope and belief that through appropriate care, patients with life-limiting illnesses may live their remaining days pain-free and with dignity, and their families may accept and find their own new beginnings. Hospice of Amador and Calaveras provides the treatment and care necessary for physical, emotional and spiritual well-being, either at home, or in a board-and-care or skilled-nursing facility. The services we offer are covered by most private insurance plans, Medicare and MediCal, but we accept patients regardless of their ability to pay. *Be sure to shop in - and donate to - our Hospice of Amador & Calaveras Thrift Stores! Your donation is tax deductible and receipts are available. Hospice of Amador & Calaveras Thrift Stores are now open in both Amador AND Calaveras counties.
