NAPS Doulas

NAPS Doulas Since 1996, NAPS Doulas has been the trusted resource for doula professionals across the Puget Sound region.

Our locally rooted community offers personalized mentorship, continuing education, and support designed to help doulas thrive. The Postpartum Doula cares for the family in their home in the time following the birth of their baby (or babies!). A Doula provides non-medical support and evidence-based information. Your Doula can also assist with newborn care and sibling adjustment, meal preparation and household organization. At night, postpartum doulas can help parents get a full night's sleep and support the family in creating a happy sleep schedule.

Honoring African American Month – Celebrating Black Birth and Postpartum Doulas

This month, we honor the contributions of Black birth and postpartum doulas who provide essential support to families and work to address maternal health disparities. Their advocacy, compassion, and expertise create safer, more empowering birth and postpartum experiences for Black parents and beyond.

At NAPS, we are proud to uplift and support Black doulas as they continue to make an invaluable impact. Let’s work together to build a more inclusive, supportive community.
