The Green Spiral Way

We believe that within every human being lie the seeds of his/her own destiny, and that we all possess innately the tools required for our own personal development. Our work therefore is to facilitate the awakening of these natural processes and to provide a nurturing environment. Green Spiral programmes and activities:

1- Intercultural eco-adventure summer camps for families. This means that we see language as a form of communication that can only be meaningful where there is a true encounter with other human experiences. Where all learning takes place in context and acquires deep meaning because it is part of personal growth and transformation. This is why our language programmes deliberately combine eco- and adventure community living with personal and intercultural discovery. These are courses where language learning occurs less through formal tuition although this is also a feature than through the use of language in challenging and fun activities which encourage young people and families to trust in themselves and others. Our unique approach views language acquisition and personal discovery as an adventure sport rather than a passive activity. In this way, formal instruction links dynamically with activities which demand practical communication between participants. Green Spiral language tutors are on hand to assist and to enrich these active learning experiences - we don't switch off when we are most needed.

2- Intercultural/adults gatherings throughout the year. Eco Irish tourism with our green spiral way.
5 days gatherings for adults to meet and make friendships learning the language and skills related to our approach.

3-Creative Expression Through Painting, clay and movement workshops/Soul painting/Qi Gond/alchemical cooking and healthy eating.
