I hope youโ€™re all well.
My marathon training started a few weeks ago.
My marathon run this evening. ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ ๐Ÿ‘

I noticed if I stepped it up a gear I could do 20km in under 2 hours. Did it with 7 seconds to go! The final 2km was tough. Longest I have ever run in distance and time. No pain- No gain.

This week has seen us prep and cook all different meals in our kitchen! ๐Ÿคฉ

-Fully loaded vegetable frittata.
-Turkey bolognese with courgette.
-Chicken shish with baba ganoush.
-Turkey mince, veg burrito wrap.
-Plant-based porridge.
-Delicious Dahl.
-Quinola dish.
-Super salmon salad.
-Tuna and butter bean salad.
-Moroccan chicken tagine.

A super variety of different foods, full of flavours, fresh and nutritional goodness. Love๐Ÿฅ—๐ŸŒฎ๐Ÿฒ

The key for us, is meal planning weekly. In particular, meal preparation the night before for the next days lunch. ๐Ÿ˜‹

Drinking plenty of water is the 1st step you need to take to improve your health.

3 litres a day is enough!

On excercise days aim for 4 litres!

๐—ช๐—ต๐˜†?

Drinking enough water each day improves our health in many ways.

Our organs, cells & tissues are made up of a high percentage of water, therefore if we allow these levels to drop or become dehydrated our organs will have a challenge working properly.

Over time this can cause health issues such as;

โ€ข Lack of concentration or brain fog.

โ€ข Persistant headaches

โ€ข Constipation

โ€ข Lack of energy

โ€ข Dull skin

โ€ข Fatigue

โ€ข Dry mouth/bad breath.

โ€ข Weight gain

๐—›๐—ผ๐˜„ ๐˜๐—ผ ๐—ด๐—ฒ๐˜ ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ด๐—ต?

๐Ÿ‘ Carry around a 1 litre bottle so you can take regular sips throughout the day.

๐Ÿ‘ At each meal have a glass of water before or after.

๐Ÿ“ ๐—ฌ๐—ผ๐˜‚ ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐—ป ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐˜„๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐˜๐—ผ๐—ผ!
Cucumber, watermelon, limes, pineapple, grapes, peppers, tomatoes, oranges, strawberries & more....all count towards your water intake!

โ˜• Your tea & coffee count towards your intake too (after 6 cups a day it will start to have the opposite effect though) go steady on the milk & sugar ๐Ÿ‘

**The first week you consistently drink your 3 litres you may find you are nipping to the loo ALOT! This will calm down as your body becomes used to consuming the water & starts absorbing it around your body rather than flushing it straight out...this is when you will start to feel the health benefits of drinking plenty of water๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ™Œ

Really pushed myself today, the amount of battles I had with myself to keep going! With the odd 30 seconds walk. Listen to the body!

My goal before the month is out is to do 5k in 25minutes. I will do this. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
