Wishing everyone a warm and cozy Tuesday! Anyone else going a little 🤪 crazy being snowed/iced in?
I’m looking out the window, enjoying the beautiful sunlight and imagining all that snow is a white sandy beach. 🏖️ 😎 🍹 Even listening to some ocean sounds & tropical music while I walk on the treadmill…perhaps I’ll put on sunscreen instead of moisturizer today ☀️ and spray my face with a bit of salt water. 🌊 🤣
Ok so maybe I won’t go that extreme… but it’s tempting. 😆
Anyway…. My girls 🐶 🐱 are over my shenanigans & ready for me to get back to work. Evidently I interfere with their nap schedule. 🙄
Since it appears that they have attempted to clean off my road (thank you!!), I’m going to ATTEMPT to get to work tomorrow (Wednesday) for my mid day folks. (Thank you to my morning and evening clients for allowing me to reschedule you!) Hopefully heading in later and leaving earlier will help me avoid any icy conditions. If not, I’ll reach out to make other arrangements. Thursday & Friday folks, we are *tentatively* on schedule as of now. 🙏🏼 🤞🏼

❄️ ☃️ Hope everyone is having a fun, safe winter weekend! As you can see, the road in front of my house is… Well… Nonexistent at this point. 😂 Those tracks you see? Yep, made by ATVs & 4-Wheelers. Since the forecast isn’t calling for this to melt in the near future, the practice will be closed & I’ll be staying home for a couple of days.
I’ll be in touch with those who have appointments Monday, & probably Tuesday, to get everyone rescheduled if we possibly can. With temps not getting above freezing anytime soon, and a potential 2nd round of weather possibly coming next week, this could get interesting. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Thank you for your flexibility & patience.
Now, put down your phone, put on some extra layers, and go play outside & get some fresh air! 🤗 ✨ 🩵

The practice will be closing at 2pm today so that the fur kids 🐶 🐱 & I can finalize “just in case” weather preparations this afternoon. Everyone stay safe and warm! At the beginning of 2025 I hosted a manifestation class where we set intentions for the year. The first half of the class was focused on being thankful for what we already have. Part of that practice was creating a gratitude jar. ✨ 🫙 💕 Every night we were to write down something we were thankful for from that day & put it in the jar. At the end of the year we’d each have 365 things to be grateful for.
This morning, I sat down & emptied my jar. As I read through all the happy memories of the last year, my eyes welled up with tears of happiness. Sometimes it was simple things; my weighted blanket, Friends reruns, my cats’ purrs, my dogs’ kisses, my nephew’s hugs. Sometimes it was things we take for granted; good health, enough money to pay bills, a great parking spot, a warm, safe home, or iced tea on a hot day.
But the ones that made me smile the most, were ones where I named clients, friends, & family members. The memories of laughter, hugs, healing, & support we have (sometimes unknowingly) given each other filled me with immense appreciation. It’s easy to complain or to see the negative (especially when it’s all over social media or the news). It’s valid to sometimes feel exhausted or overwhelmed with increasing demands in our lives. But please please please know this:
**You never know the difference you are making in someone’s life.**
Even if it’s just 1 day or 1 hour out of the whole year… you create a ripple effect that you may never see. Even when times are hard, all it takes is 1 smile, 1 kind word, 1 lunch, 1 conversation, 1 phone call or text to make a difference. All those little moments add up to a big wonderful life for the lives around you, & for you too.
I encourage you to start this daily practice in 2026. Not only is it a quick calming practice to ground you back into the moment as you do it each day, but you’ll also be surprised when you open your jar (or notebook) in January of 2027 to read back through the beautiful things that happened, no matter how challenging things got around us.
Thank you all for being a part of the journey in 2025. May your 2026 be blessed with happy moments & gratitude. 🙏🏼
